The title of this blog comes from a line used by Thomas Paine in Common Sense, 1776. He felt time had "found" those who were building this great nation. A free, honest, and Liberty based media is essential to protecting God given freedom.

ABC Sets Up Obama Victory Template
Here it is---ABC making sure Barack Obama knows how he can win election and save the nation from disaster, both at the same time---and they will be there to help.
You may have heard there's this storm on the east coast, Sandy. A "Mega Super Storm" is what ABC News has called it. Complete with disaster music, new motion graphics and the Extreme Weather Team on the ground. Few storms live up to the media hype and let's hope this one follows that predictable track.
This column is not about the seriousness of the storm, but about ABC and the politics of disaster and how the network is both advising the president, and creating his template for success.
Witness this set-up discussion Sunday morning between Dan Harris and George Stephanopoulos.
Dan (liberal question asker): "If you're the president, how do you manage campaigning, because his job is truly on the line here, with governing and managing perhaps a large disaster?"
George (Clinton's boy): "You show you're in touch and that's why the president has already put out photos of him talking to the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and he's also returning to the White House tomorrow afternoon already cancelling some events. The biggest problem for the president now, if he makes any mishandling of this storm it could affect the final days of this race more than any other factor."
Interpreted, what they're saying is: "Dear Leader, get back to the White House so that we can show everybody how brilliant you are and how you have saved America from this disaster. You just do what we say, we will take care of the rest."
Of course, this is all a set-up and is easily manipulated. You find out how effective true leaders are by how they react when they are outside the glare of the spotlight.
We have the perfect example, and ABC has virtually ignored it.
Anybody at ABC heard of the terrorist attack on Benghazi? Oh ya, you've done the story alright (a :15 reader by the anchor in the B-block,) but have you bothered to connect this directly to the White House as an example of how Barack Obama is as a leader? No, you have not.
Obama watched for hours on video as Americans were attacked and killed at a US Consulate. He could've sent in help and did not. Then he knowingly lied about the cause of the terrorist attack. He sent others to lie about the terrorist attack, then he took off on Air Force One to Las Vegas for a campaign event.
That's what he did and you know that's what he did, but you refuse to tell that story.
Instead, you now approach your viewers with a template that will be used by you to try to save his failed presidency in the final days of this election.
How do you put on your make-up and walk on set with a clear conscience and try to tell your viewers that you are "looking out for them?"
Besides, if Benghazi has taught us one thing, if the president does "mishandle this storm," the Activist Old Media won't report it.

ABC Celebrates The "Crip Walk"
I almost....almost could not believe what I was seeing. ABC Good Morning America anchors celebrating the"Crip Walk."
Oh, I understand funny, silly, happy-talk news, but this was over the top.
I'm guessing you don't have to be a brilliant ABC news anchor to know what the 'Crip Walk" is, you could probably figure it out on your own, but I will tell you. It's a dance made popular by deadly Los Angeles gang members in the bloody, decades long battle between Crips and Bloods in the Southland. Hundreds die every year in this senseless battle that has destroyed the lives of tens of thousands of Americans.
Bianna Golodryga laughed and joked about Serena Williams doing the "Crip Walk" after winning Olympic Gold in women's tennis. Golodryga called it, "one of my favorite moments....a joyful little dance, I believe they call this crip-walking." She then performed part of the dance while on set. What's next Bianna, flashing gang signs? Dan Harris then joked that the weather gal might do "a little bit of a crip walk" after she gets a weather cast right. Yuck, yuck, yuck, yo, yo, yo.
Maybe this is an East Coast, West Coast thing. Perhaps news anchors in New York don't get out west very often and when they do, they stay in Malibu. Having grown up in LA I spent a lot of time living and working in East LA and South Central, I knew the moves and signs of gangsters. But still, when it's called the "Crip Walk" you should have a pretty good idea what it means. If not, use Google.
Crip-walking was banned in LA high schools because of what it symbolized. Even MTV banned its use and refused to show music videos where rappers were crip-walking. Oh, Bianna, it's also called, "hopscotching on crack" by teenagers. If performed in the wrong neighborhood it could cause a fight, or much worse. Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Serena Williams did what she did, she's from Compton, and that's how she chose to celebrate, I'm not here to critique that, I'm only looking at the media reaction. ABC News does not have to glorify it or joke about it. It is a gang sign, it is not a "joyful little dance." My only question; was ABC News ignorant, or did they know what this was and joke about it anyway? I'm hoping it was just ignorance. What's next week, a blue bandana?

ABC Politicizes Gas Prices
Lowering gas prices is one of the weapons they will use to try to convince you that Barack Obama is fixing this economy, that in reality, is still spinning very much out of control and in the wrong direction. Reality be damned, they have an election to win for the Democrat this fall (I thought their promos said they would protect us, not the powerful politicians.)
On ABC's Good Morning America Monday, the anchors were talking about falling gas prices and reporter Paula Faris said something so blatantly biased, that I almost couldn't believe ABC would make it this obvious who they are rooting for. She said, "The best news, it (the gas price) might drop another 50 cents by Halloween, just before the election."
Why bring the election into this? I don't fill up my tank wondering what the price will be in the fall. I look at the price on the pump now. It's almost like they have something mapped out here, sort of like a template that they are putting together between now and November to tell the story they want. Is that how you do news?

She also called it the "best news" that the price would go down by Halloween. The best news to me would be that it were still the same price as when Obama took office, or at least match inflation. Yes, we know that would be great news for you in the ABC news room if prices fall before the election because you can report (falsely) how Obama has brought prices down and celebrate a November 6th win that you helped create. The Activist Old Media does not talk "truth to power," they try to create that power when libs are running the show.
Let's put the gas prices in context ABC. If you are going to make gas prices political and put them in the context of the fall election, do you know what the gas prices were when Obama took office? $1.85 a gallon. That means they have nearly doubled in less than three years. Even if they actually do drop 50 cents a gallon in the fall, we would still be paying a dollar per gallon more than when your Dear Leader took office. Report that.
Good Morning America did do some comparison of gas price numbers, they compared the national average now compared to April and to last year. Yes, gas prices are down since then, but remember, they brought the politics of the election into this issue but failed to mention the price of gas when Obama took office.

ABC, you know the numbers, if you are going to report on "falling gas prices" and use politics as your context, let's use all the numbers, even the ones that will hurt your Beloved One.
